Ernie

Ernie is a 1.5 year old Shih Tzu mix who has been revealing more and more of his loveable personality as he continues to come further out of his shell each day.

Shy but curious, Ernie can take a moment or two to warm up to humans but seems to get along swimmingly with the other dogs in his foster home. He enjoys chewing on his toys while managing to avoid all things he is not allowed to chew. And despite not being overly food-motivated, this extra good boy still does a little happy dance before dinner just to show his appreciation.

Still hard at work on his potty training and crate training, Ernie has shown great progress in a short time. When off the clock, Ernie likes to spend time outdoors before retiring inside for a rip-snorin’ good nap.
