Abby

Abby is a feisty, fun-loving 3-month-old pup looking for her forever home! She may be small, but she’s got plenty of personality to make up for it. Here’s what we’ve learned about this little firecracker so far:

• Crate Pro? Absolutely. Abby is silent in her crate at night—so quiet that we actually panicked the first time and checked to make sure she was still breathing! She doesn’t make a peep until morning.

• Cold Weather Critic. Abby is not a fan of chilly temperatures. You’ll definitely need to supply her with some sweaters, but luckily, warmer days are ahead!

• Champion Cuddler. Give her a warm blanket and a cozy human, and she’ll nap for hours.

• Spunky & Sassy. When she’s in a playful mood, she’s all about biting and, um, enthusiastically wrestling your arm.

• Food-Motivated. We are working on her kitchen manners (good thing she’s too short to counter surf) and she already knows the sound of a treat bag.

• Up? Yes. Down? Unconfirmed. Abby can confidently go up stairs, but going down is a different story—especially when it leads to the snowy backyard!

• Escape Artist in Training. She’s pretty springy in an ex-pen and has already figured out how to climb onto her crate to maximize her efforts. Good thing she doesn’t mind her crate.

• Brave & Social. She’s great with her furry foster siblings and knows exactly when to duck under a piece of furniture if they get too rowdy. But she doesn’t stay hidden for long—she’s always ready to pop back out and join the fun.

• Athletic & Adventurous. She’s agile enough to jump onto the couch and sees side tables as an extension of it. (She will walk all over them if you aren’t watching.)

• Lover of All Things Chewy. Abby enjoys a good game of tug-o-war and is a fan of chew bones and stuffies.

• Snuggle Bug. If you love face kisses, Abby is your girl!
